If you don’t have the chance to make it to Europe to experience the Christmas Markets like in the last post, there is an opportunity to visit Christmas markets here in America. Many towns across the US have their own seasonal market. Some of the towns like Sun Valley and Leavenworth are bringing in traditional European Christmas markets with culinary options like “gluhwein” (hot mulled wine), and patisseries treats. Victorian Christmas markets are also very common, with larger cities like San Francisco having them, and smaller cities like Nevada City.

Either way, European or American Christmas markets are an opportunity to see local crafts, try foods from the region, and stock up on some great holiday gifts.

Take a look at ten Christmas markets on offer here in America.
