One of my favorite things to do when I travel is to put in my ear buds, kick back and enjoy the ride. Whether I am on a train or plane, having my music in lets me settle into the atmosphere and relax. Having the best headphones allows me to have peace of mind when I travel that I will be able to listen to music on the go with quality sound. I always unplug when I am out and about in a city because I love taking in the sounds but when I am in transit, plugging in is a must. I went through multiple brands and kinds of head phones until I finally figured out the best ones for myself. When choosing which headphones are best for you, take into consideration what you will be doing and where you will use it. Maybe larger headphones if you just use them on the plane or perhaps ear buds if you want them on the go. My personal favorite for day to day are the Apples and for the long flights I love the Bose QuietComfort ear buds.

Here’s the 7 best headphones for travel:

Apple In-Ear Headphones With Remote and Mic

These are my personal favorite for a few reasons. If I break them or lose them, it’s not like they were a few hundred dollars so I feel confident. They fit well, I love the remote control and being able to use them to make phone calls from my phone. Not as noise canceling but does the trick. These are my day to day buds.

Powerbeats2 Wireless In-Ear

For those who are into music and love hearing every bass or chord, these are a great pair. Designed to enhance the music experience, the Powerbeats are excellent.

Bose QuietComfort 20 Noise Canceling

Now if you don’t mind spending a few bills, the noise canceling buds are clutch. The white noise drowns out everything and you don’t need music to be playing. I like these for the long flight to help me sleep.

Parrot Zik Wireless Noise Canceling

Another jump in cost, but the technology is crazy. The wireless headphones are controlled by your hands! You wave by it and the song changes or stops. They are also noise canceling which is a plus.

Beats Tour 2.0 (As picture above)

Dr. Dre’s original yet sturdy buds. My husband uses these and swears by them. He loves the fit, the style and easy to put away mechanisms. He has had them for a few years and never once have they broke, the music quality of course is superb.

Bowers & Wilkins C5 Earbuds

This is the step before the Bose. A sturdy, well made ear bud that wraps around for a comfort fit.

Bose QuietComfort Noise Canceling

These are the sister pair to the buds if you prefer the over your head style. Because they are over your head, the Bose QuietComfort tends to not wear your ear out like buds do. The same noise canceling technology allows you to drown out all the sounds!
