I remember our first trip to Bali. The scent of fresh incense smoking in the air, airy spaces we hid out in for days, and of course shopping. Bali inspired decor, for me, will always take me right back to that place.

After a week into our trip, we had accumulated so many things that we bought another suitcase. The design was that good and something about the effortless look resonated. Hand-carved woods, woven materials, light linens were so opposite of our cold space at the time. I once heard that what you love abroad is often what you crave for home, and the Balinese way of life couldn’t have been more accurate.

When it comes to Bali decor, the use for each piece is multifunctional. You’ll find so many of these pieces are both suited for indoors or outdoors. We may not always have the best weather for those outdoor spaces so it’s great to know that these interior pieces will work well for us. Besides, can you ever have too much macramé inside?
