Staying along the canal in Venice.
The perfect retreat.
Camping like you’ve never experienced before.
There’s always an excuse to take a summer escape. I can think of many. This summer started with the destination of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. This…
We drove up to the Sparrows Lodge, and was completely blown away by this quaint lodge.
Tired of the small, typical Parisian rooms? Yes, so am I. It’s a silly game of oh don’t step on your suitcase but still manage to crawl in bed issue when it comes to the classic hotel in Paris – well play no more, as Hotel Fouquet’s Barriere is changing the norms.
Along the slice of heaven, better known as the Amalfi Coast of Italy, lies a small town called Ravello. Perched on the top of a mountainside, this quaint place has rivaling views looking out across the Mediterranean Sea. Naturally where else would you put one of the best, luxury hotels in the world? Belmond Hotels has done it again and has done it well. At the entrance of Ravello, down the brick road, lies an old historic palace that has been transformed into the current Hotel Caruso. As you enter inside, the fresco walls, a warm smile, and a greeting of “Welcome to the Caruso” will quickly sweep you off your feet. This is my review of the Belmond Hotel Caruso ( a Leading Hotels of the World property)…
It’s no wonder it’s called Grace Hotel. Brushed with refined touches, minimalistic luxury, and uninterrupted views, this hotel is full of grace. Situated on the cliffside of Imerovigli, Grace Hotel captures the essence of clean luxury.
Arriving to the island of Mykonos is just a short hopper flight from the mainland or a ferry ride away and you can see why locals come over for the weekend. With a bustling nightlife during the summer, hot beach clubs, and food to die for, Mykonos is a great destination in the Cyclades. Looking for luxury, looking for a view, and looking for top service? Stop your searching and take a peak at the Myconian Villa Collection.
I had my eye on this particular resort before I had even purchased tickets to Australia. Perhaps it was the world renown spa or the fact that it was immersed in a rainforest, the Byron at Byron Resort had caught my attention. When I found out we were headed to the land down under, I declared my desire to go to Byron for a spa retreat.
Having the pleasure of staying at the St. Regis, I was greeted with friendly staff and a quick ride on the boat to the atoll. The main island of Bora Bora was once a volcano, and the remains are surrounded by many “motus” or “atolls” that create an almost still water lagoon. Even though the ocean side is rough with wind and choppy waters, the lagoon side is sheltered creating its perfect white sand beaches and crystal clear water. The almost complete circle surrounding the main island creates one big swimming pool with only one entrance to the ocean.
