A day of wine tasting is always a must in Napa Valley. My favorite side of this winery-filled area is the Silverado Trails Road. It is more rustic and country feeling. The wineries are stunning with brown stone walls set along the mountainside with green, red, and yellow vines. Very often you will find that you are one of the only visitors tasting a glass of wine on the veranda overlooking the valley.
My personal itinerary:
1: Oxbow Market for lunch
2: Clos du Val for one of their Reserves
3: Mumm Napa for the Reserve Rosé
P.S. wine clubs are a great way to score a killer bottle at a decent price.
