Tired of the small, typical Parisian rooms? Yes, so am I. It's a silly game of "oh don't step on your suitcase but still manage to crawl in bed" issue when it comes to the classic hotel room lin Paris - well play no more, as Hotel Fouquet's Barriere is changing the norms.
Space, yes real space. Take a deep breath, maybe even pack an extra suitcase, as this hotel is giving you what you ask for when it comes to your room. I think that's what impressed me as I saw a few of the room categories and walked through the hotel. Yes of course the kind gentlemen who opened the doors to lobby was lovely, as was the glossy entrance and the perfect sitting area, but really the room's space was one to notice. This 81 room hotel (33 are suites), is making an edge in it's service when it comes to relaxation and comfort. With 24/7 butler service, complimentary wifi, and a free soft drink minibar, the Hotel Fouquet's Barriere is a lovely place to stay on the Champs-Elysee, not to mention it is a Leading Hotels of the World member.
There is much to note when it comes to this hotel. Between the top spa and a lovely courtyard surrounded by an indoor/outdoor cafe, it really is a destination within itself. After a long day in Paris it is great to return home and have many options to relax and be away from the crowds. There is the world famous restaurant, Fouquets, which is more of an institution of itself, and known to have many stars who pass through for a fantastic meal. Staying on the Champs-Elysee, means you have many amenities close to you. Only a block away from a main metro station (George V), across the street from Louis Vuitton, and of course killer views of the Arc de Triumphe - I'm not to sure what else you need when in Paris.
Overall this hotel brings together luxury and comfort in the form of a Parisian destination in the heart of the city. Hotel Fouquet's Barriere is a great place to spend your week and I assure the rooms will satisfy.
