If you’re visiting Croatia, you’ll want to make a stop in Dubrovnik. There are so many charming boutique hotels in Dubrovnik to choose from. After scrolling through, I’ve compiled a list of of the top 10 to consider for your stay. Whether you want to be in the heart of the Old Town or just outside long the ocean, there are plenty of options in each.
Dubrovnik is one of my favorite places in Croatia. There is a lot to discover here in terms of history and culture and it’s location on the sea is stunning. 10 Charming Boutique Hotels in Dubrovnik, Croatia
1. St. Joseph’s
This historic property in the heart of Old Town is my first choice for location and design. The historic home dating back to the 16th century has been fully restored and is footsteps from everything in Dubrovnik Old Town.
One of two hotels in the Old Town of Dubrovnik, Stari Grad is located on one of the quieter streets. They serve a wonderful breakfast on the rooftop with views, making for a serene start to the day.
3. Villa Orsula
If you’re looking to be out on the water and close to town, the Villa Orsula is my first choice. It’s a 5-star accommodation and only about a 5-minute walk to town. They also have a spa on sight so you can spend the day relaxing here as well.
4. Pucic Palace
This 18th-century baroque palace is close to the center of town. Each room has elegant furnishings and is well equipped with Wifi throughout the property.
5. Hotel More
The no-frills of Hotel More is perfect for those who are looking for a serene stay. Located about 15 minutes outside of the old town on the water, it has some incredible views from its pool.
6. Hotel Kompas
One of the newest hotels to open on Lapad Bay, Hotel Kompas is about 15 minutes from town. It’s a more modern hotel with rooms that are big and cozy, many with balconies.
Though technically not a boutique hotel in size, this one is worth mentioning. It’s stunning location on the water with an ocean pool and incredible restaurant is a must. Even if you’re not staying here, I’d stop by for lunch. (pictured as banner image in this post)
A stunning villa on the water’s edge, the Grand Villa Argentina is very close to the old town. I love the swimming pool here and each of the rooms has an old-world feel to them yet luxurious at the same time.
One of the more wallet-friendly hotels, this hotel is right outside of town on the water’s edge. The rooms are a bit outdated but it makes up for it in views.
10. Hotel Lapad
The Hotel Lapad is a great choice for being close to town and for good prices. It’s an older building but the rooms have been updated with modern amenities.
